Can you use a GSM unlocked smartphone that was originally designed for Verizon CDMA on the Verizon network?
I want to get a Motorola Droid and the best deals I find online are all for unlocked versions. I just want to make sure it will still work on the Verizon network before investing in it. Thanks for your help.
Verizon’s Motorola droid does not have a sim card and cannot be unlocked. You are probably looking at the Milestone which is the GSM/WCDMA version of the droid. Verizon will not activate the Milestone on its network because it will only activate Verizon-branded phones.
