How can i get the box that says no event off of my samsung solstice?

Theres a box on the desktop of my samsung solstice that says no event. ive been trying to get it off forever but i cant figure out how. it wasnt on when i first got my phone, but i turned it off and the box popped up when i turned it back on.

just drag it back or
follow these steps
-click on menu
-go to settings
-go to display and light
-go to widget
- now u can get some of the widgets off there

but u cant get that no event off because that shows u when u have a new message and stuff
