How can I make my car stereo sound better?
I have a little Geo Metro I use for work. I have a decent Sony 200 watt stereo in there. The car has 4 round 6.5″ speakers. They can’t hand any bass whatsoever without sounding horrible so I have to keep the volume low and the bass low as well. What can I do to improve the sound. I don’t want anything crazy like the cars with all the bass, I would just like a better sound. I mostly listen to Jazz which does need decent bass. The Geo has a VERY SMALL cargo area in the back so I am kinda hesitant to put a large speaker box back there and lose all me cargo area. I’m looking to do this as inexpensively as possible…meaning I can’t spend hundreds of dollars.
your best bet would to be to get better speakers first of all…. then get a subwoofer. but something like a 10 in so u jsut get the nice bass that your speakers cant do for u… you will also need an amp… try a 10 in comp or cvr kicker sub with a amp.. it will sound really nice, especially for jazz like music.
